Nationals of Canada and the USA are permitted to enter Aruba with travel documents other than passports. Contact relevant embassy/consulate for further details.
Passports
Passport valid for at least three months after intended return to home country and should contain one blank page.
Note:
All persons, including US citizens, traveling by air between the USA and Canada, Central and South America, the Caribbean and Bermuda are required to present a valid passport or other approved document when entering or re-entering the USA.

Warning
Most visits are trouble-free.
Visitors should be aware that the Islands are used as a drug passageway from South America to Europe and North America. It is advised never to leave bags unattended nor agree to carry a package for anyone.
The hurricane season in the Dutch Caribbean normally runs from June to November.
The threat from terrorism is low. But travelers should be aware of the global risk of indiscriminate terrorist attacks which could be against civilian targets, including places frequented by foreigners.

Health Care
There are excellent medical facilities and many hotels also have doctors on call. There is a modern, well-equipped hospital, as well as a medical center. In rare circumstances, air evacuation to Curaçao may be necessary. Full medical insurance is advised.

* A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required from travelers over six months of age arriving from infected areas.
